v.1 Surroundings Sound Speakers Not Working Correctly West/Manage Sound Devices
Hello, and thank you for trying to assist me. Allow me begin with my specs:Os- Windows 8 64bit
MOTHERBOARD- ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0, Utilizing on-board audio
CPU- AMD FX-8350
RAM- 16GB
GPU- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570
SPEAKERS- Z-5500 Digital five.1 Speaker SystemHere is my situation. When I was initially setting upward the speakers, I went to Command Console- Hardware and Audio- Manage audio devices- Playback- Highlighted High Definition Sound Device- Clicked on Configure, and my problem began.
When I clicked on "Configure", there was a list of Sound channels listed. I clicked on the speaker setup that is most like the configuration on my calculator, which in my case is the pick "5.ane Surround". This option displays a left speaker, a centre speaker, a correct speaker, a sub-woofer, a rear-left speaker, and a rear-right speaker. When I hit test, the left speaker icon was highlighted, and a sound was played. I heard the sound. Information technology and so went to the right speaker icon, highlighted it, and once more a sound was played. At that point, information technology highlighted the center speaker, simply no sound was heard. Then the sub-woofer was highlighted, merely no sound was heard. So the rear-left speaker was highlighted, but no sound was heard. Finally, the rear-right speaker was highlighted, and again, no audio was heard. So, I checked all the connections, to ensure all the speaker were continued properly. They all were. I tried everything I could call up of, simply no sound was played from any speakers merely the left and right speaker.
Later on nigh an hour and a half, I decided to go to YouTube and play a video. I searched for some sort of surround sound examination. Low and behold, I found a video chosen "Surround Sound Test", and I played it. Sound came out from ALL of my speakers! And then, essentially, my environment sound speakers exercise work properly, with the exception of the speaker examination in "Choose your configuration" examination in the "Speaker Setup" part of Windows 8.
Now, I know that some of y'all might say, "Dude, your speakers are working properly, what's the problem?", and my answer is simple: I want them piece of work properly everywhere, including the "Choose your configuration" exam in the "Speaker Setup" part of Windows 8.
Whatsoever ideas? Again, cheers in advance for whatever assistance you may be able to provide.

Re: v.1 Surround Audio Speakers Not Working Correctly W/Manage Audio Devices
What audio driver are you using and version number? Yous should be using your sound drivers software to gear up and configure speakers setup. The configuration utility in windows is for the generic driver that comes with windows 8.
